MONster Tippers

Nowadays, effect tippers play a major role when it comes to eliciting even more different sounds from the bodhrán than are already in the drum.

Split tippers, some with a core, as well as brushes and felt tippers are used.

Often the handle or the wood is different, so that again there is a wide range of choices available. So here you will also find tippers of the MoGrip series or the MONster series.

Martin O'Neill is one of the leading bodhrán players and he has developed these wonderful signature tippers with Stevie Moises.

It’s the first hybrid serial stick series with handles that have an oval cross section! This makes it very comfortable to hold, and helps to keep the hand muscles relaxed.

All handles in the MONster series are made from plum tree, which is a wonderful red/brown European hardwood, and available from sustainable sources.
