RWE-Grip Tippers

Together with Stevie Moises we have developed this tipper grip to provide a perfect handle for all situations and to ensure a secure grip.

The result are not only MoGrip tippers, but also the unique RWE-Power, a solid wood tipper with an embedded shrink tube.

This construction is unique in the world of bodhrán and a masterpiece of tipper maker Stevie Moises.

RWE - Grip

All RWE-Grip hotrods have the MoGrip shape, but are additionally covered with a red shrink hose. This has worked extremely well in my hands, even in very fast playing situations.

On the RWE-Power, the red shrink tubing is incorporated into the handle and merges seamlessly into the wood!

The RWE-Grip allows a slightly looser grip, as nothing slips, and thus enables relaxed playing. In addition to the hotrods, we also developed a solid snakewood tipper with the RWE - Grip.
